SDGforHer, through its HerFutureFound Programme, is launching its 2026 Back2School Drive to support girls from underserved communities in returning to school and continuing their education. The intervention aims to raise funds to remove some of the financial barriers that prevent girls from accessing and remaining in school. Funds raised will be used to provide essential educational support, including school fees, school uniforms, reading and learning materials and payments for extracurricular activities.
Depending on the funds raised, we hope to reach and support girls in underserved communities across Kebbi and Lagos States, Nigeria, ensuring that more girls have the resources and opportunities they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Expected medium-term impact of the Intervention:
1) More girls from underserved communities will be enrolled in school and supported to remain in school throughout the 2026 academic year.
2) Support for school fees, uniforms and learning materials will ease the financial burden on families and caregivers.
3) Access to essential reading materials and educational resources will help girls participate more effectively in classroom activities and improve their academic performance.
4) Providing girls with the resources they need to attend school and participate in extracurricular activities will help strengthen their confidence, social skills and sense of belonging.
5) Targeted educational support will help address some of the economic pressures that can force girls to discontinue their education.
Through the HerFutureFound Programme, we envisions a future where a girl’s education is not determined by her family’s financial circumstances or the community in which she lives. The 2026 Back2School Drive is more than an educational support initiative; it is an investment in girls’ potential, dignity, leadership and economic future. Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, stay in school, and build a future of her choosing. Together, we can help make that possible.
Join SDGforHer in supporting the 2026 Back2School Drive and helping girls in underserved communities across Nigeria access the education and opportunities they deserve.
