In November, something simple yet deeply meaningful happened at SDGforHer. A kind donor reached out with one clear request: “Please help me give this brand new wheelchair to a woman who needs it.” That request became a life-changing moment for another woman through our HerGoodwill Health Drive, the gift of a brand new wheelchair.

For many women living with mobility challenges, access to basic aids like a wheelchair can be life changing. It determines whether they can move freely, work, attend medical appointments or even participate in community life.

We shared a call for applications on our social media, and within a short time, we received several responses. Each case was carefully assessed, and after a thorough review, we selected a woman whose need for the wheelchair was most urgent.

This intervention reflects what the HerGoodwill Program stands for: practical compassion, community-centred support and solutions that directly improve quality of life. As we continue our health and social impact programs in 2025 and beyond, moments like this remind us that one act of kindness can change everything.
