As we reflect on the success of the Goodwill Drive, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the impact we’ve been able to achieve in the underserved areas of Oniru, Lagos. The Goodwill Drive, a cornerstone of our mission, unfolded with a profound sense of purpose and determination. We set out to empower over 200 women and girls, ensuring that each individual had the choice to pick items they needed from a vast array of items. From essential hygiene products to clothing and beyond, our aim was simple: to provide not just material goods, but also a sense of agency and dignity.

The response was nothing short of inspiring. Women and girls were met with warmth and respect. Each item was meticulously packed, symbolising our commitment to treating every recipient with the utmost care and consideration. In total, over 1000 items were shared to our recipients.

What set this outreach apart was the emphasis on choice. In a world where options are often limited, giving women the power to select what they need is an act of empowerment by itself. It’s a reminder that their voices matter, and their needs are worthy of attention and respect. From basic necessities to items that spark joy, every choice made during the Goodwill Drive was a testament to the strength and resilience of the women we serve.

But our impact goes beyond the tangible items shared. It lies in the moments of connection, the conversations shared, and the bonds formed.
