Aligned with our Thematic Area of ‘Community Outreach,’ SDGforHer embarked on a meaningful initiative designed not only to spread joy but also to address a crucial need within one of the most vulnerable communities in Nigeria. This year’s outreach, marking our inaugural endeavour, was especially significant as it revolved around the heartwarming distribution of food items to 150 deserving women in our community.

The core of this initiative was the distribution of food items to 150 deserving women. These women, often facing various hardships, are the focus of our outreach. Beyond the numbers, each woman represented a unique story, a journey, and a set of circumstances that made this outreach more than just a charitable act—it became an expression of solidarity, empathy, and community support.

Many women that received the food-boxes expressed profound gratitude, as they had no alternative means of putting food on their tables for the festive season.
